This city was our destination all along… and I really didn’t know what to expect.

I was pleased.

They say it’s the “Biggest Little City In The World.” And you know what, I had planned some snarky comment…

…but it turns out whoever said that, was right.

For some reason, the entire trip I’ve been looking forward to this city.

It was everything I thought it would be.

Surely better than Cleveland OH.

But it went exactly how I expected.

Such a lame day.

Here, let me explain.

Basically I can sum this city up by saying it was exactly how I envisioned it… only worse.

When we got into the city we did the only sensible thing… get food. Turns out that like Philadelphia, Washington DC also has a killer food court.

Then it was straight to the Museum of Natural History.

I must admit… I figured this was going to be an entertaining but mediocre romp through history.

But I was so wrong.

Here is the (close to) real time update of my travels… I’ve put it after the break as to not clutter up the front page.

This is a city with a slight identity crisis. While you have your typical loud exhaust civics making a racket up the street, the down town is certainly for the Hartford elite.
