My sense of humor. A Retrospecticus.

Not sure when I first developed my sense of humor… or even where I got it.
Neither of my parents are comedians. Occasionally they will say something funny, but it’s purely accidental. (Like the time, describing how some kids had mooned her, my mom used the term “dropped trou‘”)
Despite my upbringing in a humorless and unhappy [...]

A couple interesting bits in the news.
Firstly, is seems as though Amtrak has made it a habit to drop off drunks at an abandoned crossing in Litchfield Park, Arizona. The spot in the 800,000 acre national forest is a favorite for them… kick the passenger off the train, and call the police to pick him [...]

It’s been slow… sorry.
I stumbled across this picture I took a while ago.
I ordered my Burger King meal to eat at the restaurant.
They gave it to me in the bag to go.
I mentioned I wanted it for there.
So they took the whole bag and placed it on a tray.
Brilliant.

This is by far one of my most favorite short films ever. (Also check out Motodrom.)

Words escape me.
It is with deep sadness that we regret to announce the passing of Don Herbert - the one and only “Mr. Wizard”. Don lost his battle with cancer today, June 12, 2007, at 9 AM Pacific Daylight Time - slightly more than one month shy of his 90th birthday. He was lovingly surrounded [...]

What do Paris Hilton and Kim Phuc have in common?

Firstly, I should probably answer the “Who is Kim Phuc” question that some of you are undoubtedly asking right now.
In 1972, Phan Thi Kim Phuc (or better known as Kim Phuc) was a little girl living in the Village of Trang Pang in Vietnam. On June 8th of that year, South Vietnamese planes dropped Napalm [...]

Rachel and I went to the mall the other night. There we saw plenty of fashion abominations… here are two.
Firstly, I commend Sears for giving women “choices.”

But I don’t know just how much of a “choice” someone has when one of the options is this monstrosity:

And secondly:

Is it?

This is a throw away post… I rediscovered there pics that I had taken and forgotten about.
They speak for themselves.

Yes, those are two seperate notes…. so close, but yet, so far.

The Boston Globe reported today on a pair that tackled and subdued a distraught man on a flight into Boston’s Logan Airport.
Apparently this man had made comments such as “Your lives are going to change today forever” and would scream and roll around on the floor.
A retired 65 year old police officer from Massachusetts, named [...]
