And upon closer inspection… why do they need the disclaimer at the bottom of this sign?

Are there no items in the store that cost less than $3.99? If so, they don’t need a disclaimer. If some items are cheaper, why didn’t they just make that [...]

Multi-Purposeful and a Breast Up-Charge

I was grabbing lunch at an A&W the other day (they have root-beer on tap!)…

…First time I’ve ever had to consider a “Breast Up-Charge”

And while checking out an Ocean State Job Lot, I got to wondering just how many other purposes a lamp might have other than lighting things up…

They did have totally kick-ass glow-in-the-dark [...]

There is nothing quite as uniquely disturbing than a trip to a foreign Grocery Store.
Everything is still there… and most of the products are the same… but it’s not quite right.
Things are in different places, and they have weird generic foods.

And it’s especially odd when you walk in, and they have those waist-level, open [...]
