I took the motorcycle to Niagara Falls over the weekend to see a group of old friends. Here are some things I noticed:
First, I was disappointed to find out that it’s just a giant waterfall.

There are women on the money.

Canada’s take on the Mailbox!

It’s one better!

Beaver!

Stick your legs out.

I apparently traveled 500+ miles for [...]

CNN Headline T-Shirts: I don't get it.

April 24th, 2008 – 9:38 pm

Perhaps I am just an old man screaming “Get off my lawn,” but I just don’t get this…
CNN.com now has little T-Shirt icons next to certain headlines. When you click on them it takes you to a page where you can purchase (for $20) a shirt with the headline printed on it.
They are calling it [...]

The Office of Government Commerce, also known as “OGC,” (England’s Treasury) just spent 14,000 Pounds to create a new logo for the agency:

The logo, for the Office of Government Commerce, was intended to signify a bold commitment to the body’s aim of “improving value for money by driving up standards and capability in procurement”…

I spent the weekend running all over the map… well, mostly back and forth to Boston. Here’s some stuff I noticed:
This Guido Bagpiper was actually pretty good!

I glanced over quickly, and thought this was a sign advocating the belting of kids:

Do we really assume that we are going to go our entire career without changing [...]

Federal Inmate to be on Idaho Ballot with Obama and Clinton

April 17th, 2008 – 3:03 pm

As it would turn out, all it takes to get on the Democratic Primary Ballot in Idaho is the submission of a form and a $1000 fee. And that’s exactly what Keith Russell Judd did. As a result, the 49 year old serving time for making threats in 1999, will be on the ballot along [...]

…but one my celebrity look-alikes is Justin Timberlake?! They’re just trying to be nice.

A very good friend of mine lives on the opposite coast from me. This compounded with my propensity for staying up late means we often have conversations late at night (my time).
This has never been a problem except for a couple nights ago. I’ve had a few early days in a row, and I’ve been [...]

Saw this tag while I was out and about tonight:

It was on the bottom of every one of these chairs:

(Special thanks to Greg for taking these pictures while I was getting a sandwich.)

I’m a nerd. Not an uber nerd, but I’ve got some nerd in me.
I was watching Star Wars: Episode IV tonight (you know, the first of the original ones) and I was reminded of my most favoritist character eva…
Red Six.
He comes in towards the end, when the Rebels are attacking the Death Star. He gets [...]

Three things, in no particular order.
This is just your basic FAIL:

Now it’s one thing to substitute the letter “K” for “C” to make things more homely… Such as calling your shop “Kountry Kitchen” (Which I did see the other day).
But to just drop all the “W’s,” that’s infuriating:

And finally at the gas station today I [...]
